Ray Forde / Co-Station Manager, Presenter

Ray was born into a musical family his older siblings are all musicians, it was a household filled with music and singing. He grew up listening to a variety of music such as rock and blues. From the age of 16 he was on a number of bands he played guitar and vocals on bands such as The Right Foundation, a boy band Unique and a rock band called Ashmatic Hedgehogs. Started DJing in the late 1990’s and played in most of the major clubs in the country. He has worked in the Audio Visual industry for over 20 years.

In 2013 he co-founded Ballina Community Radio fulfilling a lifelong dream of bringing a radio station back to Ballina. He holds a qualification in Radio Production. His varied music interests his reflected in his playlist of mainly 80’s and 90’s classics.
